Copies of Middle Age gems of Serbia are defined under the influence of Roman and Gothic style on the West of Europe. Cherishing of gem cult begins on the Nemanja’s Castle with independence of Raska, but luxury and shine of the expensive gem, made on artistic way, is taking place during the reign of Stefan Prvovencani. The biggest revival of the specific beauty in the making of golden, silver gems and jewels, according the written sources, is described on the Serbian Castle during the reign of King Milutin in the XII Century.
As one of the status symbols (smallest in amount, unique by its form, but the richest by content) ring is assigning; made from gold and silver as a marking ring with inscriptions (heraldic signs or inserted antique themes).
One part of represented copies of middle Ages gems has been made in cooperation with:
